Excellent for swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, and just about anything else outdoors, this spacious 100 acre campground is blessed with 1-1/2 miles of sandy beaches along the Brazos River which is about 300’ wide and 10’-20’ deep. All of our campsites are waterfront and measure at least 100’ x 150’. Each site comes with its own firepit, picnic table and charcoal grill. Geared toward family and friends camping, our resort is a one-of-a-kind gem balancing nature and wildlife with fun and relaxation. We are always locked and gated and we do not offer day-use…..no one gets in without a reservation!
Fishing on the Brazos is very popular and our anglers are often successful. From young to old, beginner to experienced, campers always have a good time fishing the river. Pets are welcome too and many people bring them along. Dogs love our campground as much as their owners do and our policy is pretty simple. If pets are friendly, non-aggressive, obey commands, and won't run off, then they are welcome.
Home to abundant wildlife, including a large deer population, campers will get lots of close up views. And with those big Texas skies, amazing sunsets and starlit nights; every season along the river is special…..you sure won't find this in the city! Our resort is conveniently located 17 miles south of Cleburne, 50 miles south of Fort Worth and about 75 miles from either Dallas or Waco.
